Become The Blogger of Choice - Happy National Brainy Blog Tip Day! March 26th

National Brainy Blog Tip day Morning!

Today is National Brainy Blog Tip day!

In existence for eons (okay, since 2 days ago), today celebrates sharing and giving by letting bloggers offer their best number 1 blog tip ever.

Here’s mine!

Blaze - Don’t Imitate…and become The Blogger of Choice

When it comes right down to the bare facts of life, you generate reader followship by standing out and singing your OWN song. Think about it - probably dozens of bloggers have written articles about

Marketing
Writing
SEO
Gaining readers
Digg
Stumbleupon

Heck, people like you and me can just go to Google and search out any bit of needed research online!!

So ask yourself, why SHOULD people follow you? How CAN you become The Blogger of Choice?

I really believe that truly sterling blog authors:

Develop unique blogging voices that deliver pleasure to the visitor upon reading
Aren’t afraid of failure and will bravely push the envelope
Aren’t scared of branching out in writing just because the popular bloggers haven’t yet touched on unique subjects

Wouldn’t you agree?

Here are some tips to help you become The Blogger of Choice.

1.) Know Thy Research

Google is so powerful it allows 6 year old boys to research wireless PDAs (one of my son’s recent searches). You can find some excellent Google/Internet searching resources at:

2.) Write As You Speak

You want your audience to enjoy reading every word, and not approach your blog articles with the same excitement they show when perusing their Schedule Cs and income tax returns, right? Thus, write as though you’re speaking to a good friend…include all those rather unique idioms or analogies or jokes etc….it will give your own blog a special flavor that’s found no where else.

Enhancing your blogging voice articles include:

3.) Be Appreciative

One of the things I really enjoy about blogging is folks will quite often give credit where credit is due! I love the ideas of ‘hat tips’ and public thankyous and have been doing that myself:

plus I’ll include references to where I find pictures in my blogs, from where ideas get sparked, etc.

It’s the right thing to do.

Remember - for each popular blogger, there’s only one of them. The field is wide open to become a valued author and share your insights….but don’t copy or imitate. Your own unique personality is your greatest benefit to becoming the blogger of choice.
