Yesterday was my second class of Brazilian Jui-jitsu!

Now, if you’re not familiar with this awesome sport of kings, macho dudes and all-powerful mother units, let me explain a bit about it - basically you grapple with your opponent and try to pin/immobilize/win the bout.

Take yesterday….at adult karate sparring.  Now, I adore sparring - there’s something about gearing up with a chest protector, helmet, hand/foot pads, etc., and taking one person after person; after 8 hours of typing in front of a computer, it’s a great stress relaxer!

There I was, waiting for the beginning of a performance of excited 6 year olds.   Now, if you’re not familiar with this particular breed of exotic human beans, 6 year olds have the uncanny ability to make their whispers register an 8.9 on the Richter Scale.   And one of the comments from the adults, I believe, was "if you even DARE to make a peep before the show starts, you shall regret it!"

It started last evening, it certainly did.

I had just returned from my beloved 2.4 mile circle walk with my kids.  Refreshed from the early morning late afternoon air, I was about to shut down my computer and actually (I hope you’re sitting down for this one) rest, when I took one last look at my blog reader.

Well!  Lorelle had posted an utterly magnificent article about Breaking Trust: How Not To Link to a Plagiarist that just drew me in and kept me reading and reading and reading.  Within that article, I found another great resource about personalizing one’s blog by adding a signature image.  WOW!  What a super idea!  I highly recommend reading it - the instructions are spelled out in plain simple language that makes it easy to implement.  I’ve done that for my own blog already.
