Can you believe that? Floating strawberries?
Well! Actually, it’s quite true! I attended the Mother’s Day tea party for my youngest son, and for a yummy treat, the kids donned on their Food TV personas and hand-crafted strawberry shortcakes.
Now, as a devout Atkins kinda mom myself, I shunned the cake and reached for my cup of paradise (ie, coffee). I was about to sip and enjoy when all of a sudden….
An opportunity arose! I’m used to enjoying various no-calorie sweeteners in my coffee…and other only thing I could spy with my little eye was (gasp!) real sugar! The horror! The agony! But instead of panicking and completely melting down being mildly unhappy, I chose to [Read more]

Morning!
It’s now been, hmmmm, 4 months since I’ve started problogging, and the amount of knowledge and tips I’ve gained is amazing. Truly the blogosphere is a superb resource for teaching yourself just about anything regarding the art of communicating with people about whom you care.

And generally, I adore these kinds of posts myself; positive attitudes and self-confidence can go light-years towards making one successful online.
Which, of course, is why I have to rock the apple cart, tip the bathtub, spread the peanut butter on the down side of the toast, fill up the car with water, shine up the trumpet with sandpaper, mix the coffee with carrot juice….in other words, present ideas from the other side of garden! With that, let me now ask you: [Read more]

But I digress.
Are you on Twitter? I’m on Twitter! And so is Chris Garrett! While contemplating Paradise in a Brimming Cup (ie, my morning coffee), he tweeted:

Morning!
Have you ever embraced pain?
No, wait, nix that question, let me ask you this one instead:
"Have you ever been faced with imminent damage….and chosen to TAKE that hit because you knew the knowledge you’d gain would far offset any short-term undying soul-searing agony?"
Let me tell you, this is THE epitomy of character-building.
