So! As everyone mobile blogging individual knows, having the ability to take pictures with your phone is more important than being able to balance your coffee in one hand while driving with the other. And you just might (might, mind you) have heard about the Apple iPhone - a rather stellar entry into the mobile phone market.
But….IS IT FOR YOU?
An excellent question! Here are some quick resources I’ve found to help you answer the above mystical question.
iPhone Blogs
While not for everyone, of course, the iPhone is fast becoming an extremely popular must-have gadget for all urban warriors. Many [Read more]

Morning!
The sun is shining, the birdies are mooing and the cows are tweeting and of course, I’ll bet the immediate thought that smacked you upside the head upon reading that was:
Hey! In less than a week it will be April Fools Day!
followed closely by
Hey! I wonder if I should take advantage of that!

Hey! How on earth do I even begin?
Well, gentle readers, fear ye NOT about the above, for I shall give you some super pointers to increasing your readership thru your own April Fools joke you’ll devise on your blog. It’s really not difficult at all [Read more]

Do you inflame your network?
Eliot Spitzer’s rep wasn’t built in a day, but his monetary value increased over a 1 million in less than 24 hours. Talk about an exponential growth!!
Over here in the Internet, it’s social networking that creates such an inferno. I was reminded of this when I read [Read more]

You know, I’ve been educating myself quite a lot about Twitter lately, and I can really see the benefits to it.
But the more I analyze it, the more I realize…it’s missing some key critical features. And for my Friday Musings, I’ve decided to start listing them, one by one.
Let’s start with:
No way to communicate in MORE than 140 characters.
Sure, I know, the basis for Twitter IS 140 characters or less, but c’mon! If someone [Read more]

Are you sitting down? You should be to ensure you don’t fall off your chair after visualizing the following:
You promise me now you’re sitting, right? I don’t have to worry about hearing large <THUMPS>?
Alright then….tell me. Picture the following.
SpongeBob SquarePants battling the Cloverfield Monster.
Okay now! Is that image firmly lodged within your cranium?
Is it crowding out visions of freshly-perked coffee and the spine-tingling joy of a neat laundry room (complete with nary a single sock in sight)?
Excellent. Now tell me….what on earth could such an image convey? You’ve all heard, a picture is worth a thousand words….what would cute yellow SpongeBob up against mean scary Cloverfields make people think?
Hang on, wait a sec, what’s that you just thought?

Money…it’s good.
I like money. Don’t you? Money enables me to keep my kids in slide rulers, my parakeets in Macaw-sized Nutriberries, my coffee maker always perking (although I will admit, it doesn’t do a darn for keeping kids sock pairs intact….). But I digress.
Recession….it’s bad.
I don’t like a recession. Recessions mean less money will be spent, which might mean less slide rulers can be bought or my parakeets will have to endure agony of plain old birdieSeed or my coffee maker will [Read more]

If you’ve been online for more than, hmmmm, 17 seconds or so, you’ve probably heard about Twitter - the nifty site that lets you communicate in chunks shorter than 140 characters.
If so, you’ve probably noticed that people use the TinyURL function to easily let their friends know about super neat blog posts, websites, etc.
After witnessing this sharing about 817 times, I said to myself:
Gee self, it would be quite spiffy if I could proactively give my readers the TinyURL itself…and then encourage them to tweet it on Twitter!
And thus was born my quest that resulted in every one of my blog posts being prefaced by:
NOTE! If you enjoy this post, please feel free to twitter it with the tinylink (fill in tinyURL here). Thanks, I appreciate it!
Here’s how I did it and how you can do it too.

Diversity…it’s a wondrous thing.
There are tall people and vertically-challenged people and thin people and width-challenged people and competent parents and "parents from heck whose little monsters could give The Creature from the Black Lagoon a run for the money" and …
People WITH computers

Welcome back!
Yesterday I had held your attention with an iron grip by asking you:
- Are there any geographic/ethnic/niche/etc. aspects I should consider?"
when devising the perfect domain name for your blog or website. And truly, Days 1-3 of this pithy yet nerve-tingling tutorial should have delivered to you the seeds of your latest domain name; just add major thunking and voila, a new domain is born!
