<YAWN> oh, it is NICE to have actually snatched MORE than 23 minutes of luxurious sleep!  What nirvana NOT having to keep one ear open to catch the stray

"Psssst Mom’s asleep!  We can play Superman on top of the filing cabinent now!"

or

"Gosh, other teenager in the house, Mom DID casually mention how if we ever visited this site our computers would be seized by the insidious Blue Screen of Death - do you think that’s what this thing is?"

Truly, it was a mystical forty winks about which Homer could compose another epic essay.  You see, I had awakened this morning at 3am, and chose to sleepily roll myself into my home office (stopping first to bump into the ON button of the coffee maker) and start my work.  I busily typed and hacked and analyzed and tried shussshing the 15 parakeets who chirped:

"Wheee!  Mommy’s here!  Let’s start making more noise then 23 jackhammers at an Iron Maiden concert!"

And by 5am, I decided, yep, that was a good 2 hours of work…and made my way back to my warm cozy bed with my warm cozy husband and fell asleep again under my warm cozy comforter.

I woke up 3 hours later (7:59am) feeling entirely refreshed, and here I am!  Thus, onto the topic of today’s post.

Over the past decade, one of my strengths wrt working online is that I’m always able to uncover interesting things about which to write/teach/consume/sweep under the couch/etc.  And as my motto is, Sharing is a Good Thing, I decided to start this Sunday series.

One of the challenges many bloggers face is:

"About what can I write that will amuse or educate or infuriate or insaneolate or panicate or (yes it’s true, raising creative kids bestows upon one an utterly astonishing ability to mangle the English language) etc. my audience?"

Simple, of course.  Take your blog topic…let’s say, iphones.  You could blog about the World Day for Water and neatly seque into:

Prevent The Evil Toilet of Doom from Consuming Your iPhone!

Then search for

• iphone water

and you might come across

• iphone water sensor revealed
• Dropped iPhone in water!
• The iPhone water damage indicator and other signs of a looming apocalypse.

Or!  Perhaps instead you blog about heavy metal music.  Take, oh, National Campfire Day, visit YouTube, and search for:

• heavy metal campfire
