I just came across this rather interesting post over at Easy Wordpress.com. To wit:

Personally speaking, however, I think that ANY Wordpress theme can be made affiliate-ready. After all, all you really need to do is incorporate niche eBay or Amazon links within your sidebar.php or single.php.! For example, look to the right of the page - those MacGyver goodies are produced by a simple eBay affiliate link that I included in my template.

The key is to think outside the box. And once you give yourself permission to explore the boundaries, you’ll find you can easily surpass them as well.
